decorating the tree

This year we decorated the tree the day after Thanksgiving

We started with breakfast and the boys involved

 








Wylders involvement at first included sitting and watching as he just woke up from a nap;)

Then we quickly decided to finish the rest after bed that night. All of it out at once was a little much for their little hands.







But lucky little chapel got to join in on the fun!

The next morning the boys got to come down to the tree finished. They LOVED it.

And miraculously they dont mess with the ornaments. (thankfully as they are glass! oooops)

(the lights are burned out on that section! ha)

This year we took off all the blue and brown. We love it so much more.
anyone need some blue & brown ornaments!?!? 


and we changed the star.



We have a little tree that we are starting for the kiddos with all our family ornaments that we have collected and been given over the years. I cant wait! That one will be so fun over the years to decorate and go back through all the memories! ;)

*ps: someone asked about our tree on another post.. its just a fake tree from Lowes. Nothing fancy... its actually pretty cheapo at times!
